I have had many requests over the years for embroidery designs for baptismal robes, Pascha basket covers, antidoron bags, and similar projects, so I designed this pattern with 6 cross choices in a range of sizes.

These can be worked on Aida cloth, counted thread fabric (cotton or linen) or on any type of fabric by using waste canvas (waste canvas is an embroidery fabric that you lay over any kind of fabric, for example, a baptismal robe, then you stitch the embroidery design. After finishing the embroidery, you spray the waste canvas with water and threads partially dissolve and you can pull them out with tweezers). The pattern specifies DMC floss colors 355 terra cotta, 729 antique gold, and 317 pewter gray, but you can use whatever colors you like.

This pattern is available as both a paper pattern and digital download.

Note: I have intentionally not put a copyright on this pattern because I didn't feel I could "copyright" crosses, but I put a lot of time into the design and sample stitching, so I would kindly request that the pattern is used for personal use and not for reproducing in quantity. If you need to purchase the pattern in quantity for a group project, please email me and I will be happy to give you a quantity discount. Thank you for your understanding!
