Purple vestments are typically worn during Great Lent. I offer two colorways: purple with gold and purple with black. Purple with gold are suitable for Sundays in Lent in communities in which purple is used on Sundays (strictly speaking, the rubrics specify bright vestments on Sundays because every Sunday is a Resurrection but it has become common practice in the US for clergy to wear purple/gold vestments on Sundays as a pastoral accommodation). Purple with black vestments are suitable for mid-week Lenten services and Holy Week (but, never Sunday use because black is never worn on Sundays).
Athens is a beautiful brocade that features a strong geometric cross contrasted with lovely vinework. The purple/burgundy/gold colorway is beautiful and vibrant.
