Meet our newest Staff member!

We recently had a new addition to our staff here at Krista West Vestments and we would like to introduce him. Many of you have noticed our new photographs and remarked on how much clearer the vestments appear. Much of this is thanks to Fr. Pinkephalos who joined us this past fall as our fit model. Fr. Pinkephalos is retired early from parish duty (he never had much of a head for administration) and has a great love of vestments along with a perfect set of measurements. He is always cheerful and never has a harsh word for anyone. We find his kindly presence to be a balm especially when we’re under deadlines. He never minds the constant putting on and taking off of vestments and is always willing to “turn just a little this way, no, a little the other way…”.

While Fr. Pin, as we’ve affectionately come to call him, is to us almost the perfect priest, he does have a few things that needle him: He cannot bear cheap galloon (“very scratchy” and “too tinselly-looking” are a few of his thoughts) or Lurex fabrics (“too flashy”) and doesn’t like his hems too long. But we find these minor flaws in an otherwise solid character. We hope you enjoy the photograph!
