Consecration Supplies
Savanon $150 (100% white linen with side ties and galloon neck placket)
This garment goes over the bishop's vestments to protect them during a consecration. It is tradition for the garment to be cut up into small squares and distributed with the antidoron (blessed bread) at the end of a consecration. Each person who attended the conscrecration then has a momento of the blessed event.

Katasarkion $95 (100% white linen, finished with a drawstring casing, surcharge for extra-large altars)
This is the baptismal garment of a newly-consecrated altar and goes on under the altar cloth. The drawstrings allow you to cinch it up tightly so it does not shift.

Raw beeswax $5.00 for 1/2 lb.
This natural beeswax comes in a 1/2 lb. cone ready to melt. It is the same beeswax used to make church candles. I recommend purchasing an Arabic-coffee pot (the kind used to make Greek or Arabic coffee) in the 5-6 cup size and a hot plate for melting the beeswax on the day of the consecration. The spout of the Arabic coffee pot makes it easy to pour the beeswax where it is needed.

Natural sponges prices vary
I have flat, antiminion sponges and natural sponges for consecrations. These are both very hard to procure, please allow plenty of time.
