Savanon--this linen
garment is worn by the bishop during a church consecration to protect his vestments.
After the consecration, it is cut up into approx. 3" squares and everyone present at the
consecration is given a square as a remembrance that can be kept in a prayer book or at
an icon corner. Also available for consecrations are katasarkion (baptismal cloth for
altar). Please inquire for details.
